We have spent a great deal of time searching equally on the internet as well as in retailers,
and then I made the decision upon this particular pot rack. Right after looking at as well as
evaluating the particular different features associated with a number of racks, this Calphalon pot
rack provided by Amazon . com was plainly the actual best buy and made the most sense for the
cash; almost all items considered. Simply put, there had been models costing nicely more than $100
or a lot more, that truly didn't provide much more (if something) for the higher cost - some were
even over $200 !! And also at just beneath 40 bucks as well as super-fast, three day free delivery,
I could not end up being a whole lot more happy with my option and the amazed buy experience.

The Calphalon pot rack is very well-built and spacious at 17" X 34". The finish is a
smooth, satin black and also the center grill is bright and shiny metal - which looks good with
each other. The hardware kit provides a generous 12 hooks to hang the cookware and four chains and
ceiling hooks to allow for a stable, "rock-free/won't tip" installation - real essential, as some
models with 2 hooks & chains can easily tip if the weight of the hanging cookware is not
closely balanced and even on both sides. This can easily happen if you needed to use two pieces of
cookware that been on the same side of the rack, leaving the opposite side considerably a lot more
heavy and the entire mess could tip over; dropping your nice cookware on the floor or somebody's
unsuspecting head! So, make sure as well as use all four hooks and still do it!!
Additionally, you should try and screw the ceiling hooks directly into the wood ceiling joints
if possible, especially if you are planning on loading this bad boy up with heavy cookware, like I
did. If you're not going to, than just use the proper toggle bolts and you should be fine, but as
always, mounting the hooks to the joists is clearly the most secure way to fasten something that
has to support weight. Also, try and mount the hooks of the Calphalon pot rack, towards the same
dimensions that are on the four holes in the rack - this also allows for each a "plumb" and more
stable rack. I think the rack also appears nicer, when the chains hang plumb (completely vertical),
as opposed to being "angled". On my particular installation, I was replacing an existing pot rack
and there were already 4 holes in the ceiling that were screwed into the ceiling joists.
So, to maintain the set up powerful, I merely slid the 4 hooks/chains a lot more towards the
outside corners of the new rack to maintain it as plumb and stable as possible, without the need to
re-drill any new holes. I also invested the whopping 97 cents at Wal-Mart and spray-painted each
the canopies and also the chains a really similar black finish for the more constant and matching
look (see my pictures). I additional a tulip light kit to the pot rack to additional improve it's
look and brighten up my stove and counter locations. (You might also add a black clip on, flexible
light that I saw at Home Depot for about $9). I am completely pleased with the finished look I
obtained for the money; after adding just a few inexpensive and easy individual tweaks of my
personal. This rack offers an excellent value for that money that most people would be totally
pleased with. If you're a lot of "style-over-substance" kind, than you'll likely require to spend
4X-6X the coin to satisfy your taste. For me, this Calphalon pot rack has each great functionality
and appears a lot more than good sufficient for that money. Appreciate it!
